Interior design & interior architecture, Washington D.C.

Dream homes aren’t just in magazines.

Full-service design for renovations, new builds, and rooms meant to be lived in, not just photographed.

Heritage in the details. Ease in the living.

Kaitlin Kirby Interiors is a full-service studio for renovations, new builds, and rooms that deserve better than a trend cycle. Every project starts with how you actually live, then holds each decision, from the framing plan to the final brass pull, to the same exacting standard.

Selected work

View the Work
Sage green kitchen with a marble island, three brass and opal globe pendants, and a plaster range hood
Dining room with a reclaimed oak table, glass globes hung on rope cords, and sliding doors open to the pool terrace
Kitchen with pale blue cabinetry, ceramic pendants on brass chains, a honey-toned zellige backsplash, and a white marble island
Interior architecture
Construction documents, millwork drawings, and renovation oversight live in-studio. The design survives contact with the job site because it was drawn to be built.
Materiality first
Stone with movement, timber with honest grain, brass that wears in. Palettes come from the materials themselves, chosen by hand and specified precisely.
A photographer's eye
Kaitlin is also a professional photographer. Light, composition, and the way a room reads from the doorway get the same attention as the floor plan.
“I actually looked up from doing dishes yesterday and started to tear up because I just love how our house looks!”
