Full-Service Design

What to Expect

Exceptional design begins with trust, built through transparency, thoughtful communication, and a collaborative process that lets you feel confident in every decision. This is the full engagement from first call to final walkthrough, so you know exactly what happens, when, and why.

As stewards of your investment, we balance creative vision with practical considerations at every step, guiding each detail from initial concept through final installation.

The six phases of your project

  1. 01

    Concept & Direction

We begin with how you live: your lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and working budget. Design directions follow as conceptual imagery, sketches, and proposed floor plans, with preliminary materials introduced so you can see the design taking shape. With your feedback and initial approvals, we refine the plans and prepare elevation drawings to support the vision.

  2. 02

    Furnishings & Finishes

Furniture, textiles, finishes, and color palettes are curated to the concept and to the way you live. We review each selection together so comfort, function, and style are fully considered, then walk through the complete presentation in a client meeting and gather your formal approval.

  3. 03

    Construction Documents

A comprehensive set of construction documents captures every fixture, finish, and specification, each one coded to the interior drawing set for accuracy. We schedule a dedicated meeting to walk you through the full set, and once you sign off, the documents are finalized and handed to your contractors and trades.

  4. 04

    Details & Procurement

With the overall design approved, we layer in decor, artwork, window treatments, and the remaining selections that complete your space. Then in-house purchasing begins, sourcing furnishings and finishes from trusted trade-only vendors.

  5. 05

    Receiving & Inspection

Everything ships to an insured receiving warehouse, where each piece is inspected and securely stored until your full order is complete. If any damage is found, we manage the claim and replacement on your behalf, and once everything is accounted for, we schedule the installation date.

  6. 06

    Installation & Reveal

On install days our full team delivers, assembles, places, and styles every detail, from furniture to drapery to art. When the last shelf is layered, you are invited home for the walkthrough and the final reveal.

Along the way

A renovation has its rhythms. These are the moments you will notice, and what each one asks of you, which is usually very little.

Trade day
One coordinated day of contractors, fabricators, and specialty trades on site, measuring and preparing estimates, while our team measures for floor plans and begins the full presentation.
Demo
Demo takes only a few days. We ask that affected areas are clear, that pets and children stay out of the construction zone, and that you leave the house if you can, since utilities may shut off temporarily. There will be mess; we will handle it.
Construction
There is very little for you to do. We coordinate and manage every trade and vendor, oversee the work, make weekly site visits, and send you frequent updates on the progress of your project.
Installation
Installation typically takes one to three days, and it is best if you are not home, so the team can work efficiently and take care of the small details. We share our best estimate before it begins.
Final walkthrough
During our final walkthrough, we’ll bring and place the finishing styling elements, thoughtfully positioning each piece in just the right spot to complete your home. We’ll also review and identify any outstanding punch-list items, answer any final questions, and officially wrap up your project with a goodbye packet containing all of your home guides and helpful resources.
The photoshoot
After installation, we will schedule a photoshoot where we’ll spend a day or two styling and photographing your home, creating beautiful, lived-in scenes and vignettes for our portfolio and social media, with your grace and permission. Following the photoshoot, you’ll have the opportunity to identify any additional styling elements you’d like to recreate in your own home, with the option to purchase those pieces.

How we communicate

You receive a project update every week, and emails and calls are answered within 24 hours, weekdays 9 to 5. Pressing issues and deadlines agreed between you and the designer are always accommodated.

Design decisions live in email, phone calls, and in-person meetings rather than texts, where details are easily lost. It keeps every change tracked, protects your estimated hours, and gives the team room to do their best work.
